New tricks and teeth

Clare just got her first tooth on Sunday, Oct 20th and then today the second one (both bottom ones) today (Tues)!  we'll see if the chewing/restless sleeping/eating slows down at all.  I think the feel of the new tooth is what is making her do this fun new noise in the video above.  She kind of is smacking her lips but tucking in her bottom lip.

She also can sit up now...and it wasn't until i videotaped her this week that i realized how well she can sit up.  she can regain her balance well with Nathaniel trying pretty hard to knock her over.  She more will fall forward rather than backward.

Fall for these 3 kids

Clare is getting close to sitting up by herself. She can fall backwards onto the pillow or me and pull herself back upright again!  it's pretty amazing to watch.  Nathaniel still can't do a sit-up to save his life.  She is still teething a lot and when you try to read her a book, all she wants to do it eat it.  She still adores her brothers and loves grabbing at them.  Nathaniel loves this and lets her grab his hair and face (even when painful) and Zachary tries to shake her off and doesn't like it at all. She talks a lot and now has a full on laugh thanks to Nathaniel's silly antics.

Right before naptime i had the boys go in their room and listen to a book on tape while I changed Clare and I came in and found them sitting like this with each other.  Very cute.

Zachary is burping baby Clare Panda.  He religiously carries around his baby panda and baby meerkat animals as his babies.  We take them to the bus stop with us.  They sit outside and watch us play. They come with us to the grocery store.

Nathaniel tripped while on the way to the bus stop and landing right on his chin.  It sure looked horrible at the time but didn't need stitches luckily.  The doctor glued him up.  And of course, school pictures were the next week.  He has a jog-a-thon tomorrow for school.  Kindergarten is going really well and he is still excited everyday.  Gripes a little about the homework (it's not much at all) but doesn't mind doing it once he starts. They had a field trip walking to the fire station on monday.
