We went to the Oregon Zoo yesterday and luckily it didn't rain! We didn't tell Nathaniel we were going to the zoo, we just said we were going to Portland to the store. About a mile before the exit for the zoo, he says, "This is the way to the zoo." And then he started smiling. Very cute and I think it saved all that excitement for at the zoo instead of the entire time leading up to getting there. Nathaniel just ran around the whole time yelling, "Let's see more animals!". This was the first time Zachary was awake for the entire time at the zoo and had a good time riding around in the stroller. Thanks, Chris and Laura...we've all had a lot of fun going to the zoo.

There were 3 black bears being very active at the zoo. Most we've seen there.

I'm so glad you guys got to enjoy the zoo, especailly Zach being awake, how fun. We're really looking forward to taking Anna and showing her the monkeys. That's too bad about Zach's teeth, I'm not sure if Anna's are coming in or not, sometimes she has her hands inher mouth, but she doesn't seem to be in much pain. Can't wait to see you guys soon. Have fun at Arches Nat'l Park, it will be so beautiful.
