Go Cougs!

We took the kids to the WSU vs. Idaho game this weekend in Pullman.  My parents came too which was a huge help and more fun.  They did fantastic despite the 7:30pm game time (ugh). The boys paid attention through the whole game with fairly little complaints.  Clare did pretty good too.  took a nap through a bit of the game and most importantly, slept the whole car ride to and from Spokane. Was very fun and we got to see Butch too (a highlight for sure) and the cougs got a good win!  Zach was so excited to see Butch but didn't stay long enough for the picture.

This was Clare's first long distance road trip.  we planned for the worst as what happened with Zach's first trip to Spokane (a 12 hour affair) but were pleasantly surprised...both directions!  She took a long nap in the car and woke up happy.  stops didn't need to be super long (i think with teething she doesn't nurse as long as she should but gets satisfied enough for another couple hours). She didn't need to stop on the way there until Country Mercantile (north of Tri-Cities)! we had a quick pitstop with the boys in Arlington before hand though.  this was also the first trip with Zach potty trained. he did super well and didn't have any instances with zero notice as sometimes happens at home.  all in all the trip was wonderful and weather held off during the game for a very pleasant evening.
