Clare singing a new song she learned at preschool these last couple weeks. She loves her new teacher who has been teaching them lots of fun songs. The words are:
Criss cross, applesauce
Hands in your lap, gingersnap
Back straight, chocolate shake
On your rear, root beer
Lips zipped, cool whip
Ssshhhh!!
Another song from preschool the boys have learned/also knew but Clare likes to tickle/torture Zachary at the dinner table with this song. Nate (sitting across from her) eggs her on to sing it and Zach has to leave the table to get away from the tickles while trying to eat dinner. No singing at the table has been said a number of times:).
And then Zach is learning some new dance moves for a spring performance in music class so this song comes on and he breaks out with his newly learned moves. getting pretty good.
at the end of February we went to visit my grandparents and the kids warmed right up to them and had a lot of fun with them. Zach conned Great-grandpa into turning on golf on the TV and just sat in his lap to watch. they moved all the stuffed animals on their couch around and played with them all with the favorite being the big white Siberian tiger.
And this last weekend we (Pete and his dad) took down a wall in the basement opening up the space more and getting a ton more light into the ping pong area:). the previous owner had walled off a little reading room for himself so he just undid that. much better for us.

Oh my, such cute videos. Zach's dancing was the sweetest! He's got that twist down. Clare's voice is so adorable. How fun! How lucky they got to hang with your grandparents for a bit.
